MONARCH BUTTERFLIES RAISING BUTTERFLIES
In past years hundreds of Monarch Butterflies would pass through the common ground behind our Nebraska home. Many lingered for several days, filling the trees each evening, to rest until the sun warms them the next morning; when they will be on their way... to Mexico! In recent years the number of butterflies have decreased to 50 at a time rather than the thousand or more that used to visit. Each fall, however, we watch. And we are hopeful. | |
